There are fine views down the coast towards the romantic ruins of Whitby Abbey which is said to be the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s Dracula.

April 2024

The cottage was beautiful, well maintained with everything provided, parking was spacious and convenient.

The area was great, loved the walk all the way to Whitby along the beach and there were great places to explore like Runswick Bay just a short drive away. Fantastic fossil hunting which the children loved.

Good eateries nearby although booking in advance is advisable.

Booking with Beautiful Escapes was very easy and we would use you again.

Thank you!
