With a reputation building as having the best surf in England, the Yorkshire coast is the perfect destination with surf spots to suit you whether you’re a dedicated surfer already or don’t know your tail from your rails but fancy learning what they might be! When there is a northern swell combined with a south westerly wind there can be some spectacular surf drawing surfers from around the country.
At the southerly edge of North Yorkshire you’ll find Scarborough Surf School providing surfing lessons in the world famous Cayton Bay providing informative, exhilarating and fun surfing tuition. You can book in for anything from a one to one lesson, a group lesson or even a bespoke session for a your stag or hen party group followed by a BBQ on the beach.
