Beautifully appointed with a freestanding bathtub, perfect for soothing any aching muscles after a day spent adventuring in the Dales and a walk in shower for when you want to an invigorating start to the day.

There is a private garden looking out across the paddock which is home to the friendliest Shetland ponies you could wish to meet while the wraparound deck is the perfect place to relax and take in the scenery, dine al fresco or a enjoy warming soak in the hot tub under a starlit sky!

Finghall is a small village surrounded by stunning scenery with footpaths from the village leading to open fields and the wide open countryside, or cycle the country lanes amidst the natural beauty of this unspoilt corner of Yorkshire, an ideal location from which to walk, tour or cycle in idyllic Wensleydale. The village has a traditional inn serving local ales with a reputation for good food.

Visit the traditional market towns of Leyburn and Hawes, both within 4 miles. Here you will find independent shops, pubs, cafés and restaurants. Historic Jervaulx Abbey is within 5 miles and the Forbidden Corner, a quirky folly garden is under 5 miles and well worth a visit.

Cottontail Cabin welcomes dogs.

• Two well behaved dogs are welcome, no bigger than a medium labrador.
• Dogs are not allowed upstairs.
• Dogs are not allowed on the furniture.
• Muddy/wet dogs must be cleaned off before entering the cottage, there is a hosepipe set up for this
• Dogs must not be left alone in the property unless they are crated
• Dog toileting must take place away from the cottage and any mess cleaned up.
• There may be a charge if additional cleaning is required.
