REVIEWS

We love to hear back from our guests to find out their experience with Beautiful Escapes.

November 2024

We have had the most relaxing week here at Drifter’ Loft, James and Rachel, the owners have thought of everything, we would highly recommend this haven to all our friends and family. Drifter’s loft is a unique property and we will definitely be back!

Thank you for all your help during our stay,

Brendan & Nikki xx

Dear Angela

Drifter’s Loft was faultless – clean, comfortable, spacious and tastefully furnished.  We have stayed in lots of self catering places and this was one of the best.
The area was great. We intended to use it as a base to explore the Yorkshire Dales but there was so much to see closer to home that we only went to the Dales once.
The booking process was easy, as was getting access to Drifter’s Loft. We would certainly book again with Beautiful Escapes.
With regards,
Neil and Jane

August 2024

May 2024

We really loved Drifters Loft.  It is beautifully located and appointed and provided everything we look for in a break and more.  The welcome basket was especially nice.
We also got to meet the owners, James and Rachel while we there, and they were both very welcoming and really helped to make us feel at home.
The area is beautiful and during our stay we covered around 600 miles driving to a range of locations including Hawes, Ripon, Whitby and the Lake District.  All these were easy to reach from Drifters Loft and if anyone wants to discover the whole area we would defiantly recommend Drifters Loft.
The booking process was easy and it was really good to be able to talk to one of your team to assist with the booking rather than just completing the process online.  We would definitely book again and would be happy to recommend Beautiful Escapes.
The break at Drifters Loft was exactly what we needed and exceeded our expectations – thank you.
All the best
David and Cressy

Exceptional in every way, by far the best self catering accommodation we have stayed in!

It is amazingly comfortable and so light and airy, everything is of the highest quality.

We loved exploring all the little villages and nearby towns, everywhere had the most lovely displays of daffodils, we really enjoyed the daffodil walk at Farndale.

Thank you

January 2024
We just love Drifter’s Loft! A Little Gem!
This was our second stay here and it certainly won’t be our last. We came to recharge our batteries after a hectic Christmas and we’ve certainly done that. The accommodation is superb, a perfect retreat. It’s so peaceful and being a loft you feel as though you’re living in the trees. It’s situated down a quiet little lane and this time we had the bonus of seeing the lane covered in snowdrops.
No expense has been spared  on the beautiful stylish interior. Everything you need is there, from the well stocked kitchen area to the sumptuous bathroom and huge stylish bedroom. We could happily have stayed in all week but it is perfectly situated to explore beautiful North Yorkshire.
The lovely market towns of Boroughbridge, which we love, Helmsley, Malton and Easingwold. Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal park are stunning and the cathedral city of Ripon is close by. There are a number of gourmet pubs just a short drive away and we can recommend The Durham Ox at Crayke.
Beautiful Escapes website is excellent and the booking process easy and efficient. Rachel and James, the lovely owners of Drifters Loft live close by and couldn’t be more helpful.
We hope to return very soon.

September 2023

Drifters Loft far exceeded our expectations, it’s simply superb. The accommodation is beautiful, stylish, spacious and thoroughly luxurious with every attention to detail. The setting is amazing, down a quiet lane just out of the village and because the loft is all upstairs you feel as though you are living in the trees. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a coffee in the morning and a glass of fizz later, sheer bliss, so very relaxing. Rachel and James, the owners live nearby and couldn’t be friendlier or more helpful.
It’s the perfect location for visiting Boroughbridge, Malton, Helmsley and Ripon. Fountains Abbey/ Studley Royal is less than 10 miles away and is just breathtaking, so atmospheric, we loved it.
The website is great, easy to use and the process of booking is quick and easy. We were confident that we were in good hands as we have booked with Beautiful Escapes before.
We were reluctant to leave and are already planning when we can return.
Many thanks
Anne

July 2023

We stayed at this fabulous place, it was excellent.
Lovely welcome basket when we arrived, it was presented exactly as in the photos, with practical thoughtful and luxury touches throughout.
Soft throws, cushions and towels, super bedding, lots of necessary bits and bobs – cling film, dish tabs, hairdryer and more. Including hair straighteners made a welcome surprise.
Outside furniture at the top and bottom of the deck made it easy to enjoy the sun.
We had a relaxing week, spending time reading and lazing, no local exploring, just what we needed. We would absolutely recommend this place, couldn’t fault it.
Easy to book the dates we wanted. Great comms prior to getting there, excellent service and knowledge.
