This stunning barn has been converted from a former Cow Shed. It is set in 10 acres, with spectacular, far reaching views all around. Situated in a quiet hamlet just 4 miles from the vibrant spa town of Harrogate. Sleeping four across two luxurious bedrooms with the comfiest beds and beautiful, luxuriously appointed bathrooms and with wonderful views of the tranquil countryside, it is the perfect combination for rest and relaxation.

Owner Lucy has created a beautiful escape with an open plan design, perfect for relaxation and socialising with friends and family. Large leather sofas, a formal dining area and a well equipped kitchen, which is open to the living space, so the cook can be part of the chit chat too. There is even a pool table to keep everyone entertained, why not have a competition running during your holiday for a bit of added fun!

Boasting high ceilings, a spacious courtyard, and ultra-modern amenities throughout, The Cow Shed is the perfect holiday escape for families, pairs of couples, and any other party looking to take in the rugged beauty of the Yorkshire moors while enjoying the cosmopolitan attractions of Harrogate and Leeds.

Dog friendly, up to 2 small/medium dogs are very welcome.

Walking and cycling from the door, on the Tour de Yorkshire route, 4 dog friendly pubs within 2 miles, 10 minutes from Harrogate, it is a wonderful place to be.

For larger groups  of up to 8 people The Cow Shed can be booked with Harrogate Hay Barn at the same location.

Living Space

The Cow Shed is a handsome stone building which offers a relaxed, welcoming space with rural views throughout. The main living space is open plan with cathedral ceilings, stylish furniture, and contemporary décor. This is where guests often tend to congregate in front of the Netflix-enabled Smart TV. There are two further spaces for guests to work, study or unwind, including the recreation area with its pool table and more casual décor, a great place to share a few beers and relax at the end of the day. On chilly days, this space has underfloor heating to keep you cosy.

Kitchen & Dining

The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to prepare slap up meals for the loved ones who you’re sharing the house with, including a large fridge freezer a coffee machine, plus a dishwasher. There is a bar seating area next to the kitchen and a separate more formal dining area off the main living space.

Field View Suite

Set on the ground floor this four poster room enjoys panoramic views across the fields and with French doors leading out to the terrace it is the perfect spot for that early morning coffee whilst taking in the view.

Brackenthwaite Suite

Set on the first floor, this king room enjoys beautiful light and features a soft, gentle colour palette. Perfect for rest and relaxation.

Terrace & Gardens

There is a spacious, enclosed terrace garden off the main living space, furnished with table and chairs and a BBQ. This is a lovely spot for al fresco dining while taking in the spectacular countryside all around, there are over 10 acres for you to explore.
