We’ve just watched the Christmas special of Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing and it was the ultimate Christmas TV! It showed Yorkshire in all it’s glorious majesty and with the heart-warming friendship and festive moments there wasn’t a dry eye in our house. Paul and Bob stayed in Chequers Cottage in the North York Moors and we were so proud to see one of our properties featuring as the backdrop to such a magical programme.
Emma, the owner of Chequers, has shared some of her personal photos that she took behind the scenes during the filming of the show. We love seeing the cottage decorated for Christmas so beautifully by Emma too! Something she does every Christmas for her guests to make staying at Chequers a festive wonderland.
